Garden Stork's-bill

Erodium manescavi is a member of the Geraniaceae family and is commonly referred to as Garden Stork's-bill. It is endemic to the western Pyrenees, where it is found in France and Spain. The species was first published in 1847 by Coss. It is also known by alternative names such as large purple storksbill, Manescau storksbill, Manescau heronsbill, and showy heron's bill. The plant is part of the genus Erodium, which includes other similar flowering species.
