Ehretia microphylla is a species of flowering plant in the genus Ehretia, belonging to the family Ehretiaceae. It is distributed across several regions, including the Andaman Islands, Bismarck Archipelago, Borneo, Cambodia, China Southeast, Christmas Island, Hainan, Hawaii, India, Java, Laos, Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, Maluku, Marianas, Myanmar, Nansei-shoto, New Guinea, Nicobar Islands, and the Philippines. The species was first described in 1792 by Lam. Commonly referred to as Fukien-tea, it is recognized for its small leaves and is part of the Ehretiaceae family, which is primarily composed of shrubs and trees in tropical and subtropical regions.
