The species was first described in 1844.
Description
Fuchsia macrostigma is a member of the genus Fuchsia within the Onagraceae family. It is found in specific localities in Colombia and Ecuador, such as Parque Nacional Natural Munchique, Cauca, Argelia, Santa Clara, La Guadua, and the Norte de la Serranía El Pinche. The species was formally published in 1844 by the author Benth.
