Fuchsia lycioides, also known as Box-thorn Fuchsia, is a species in the genus Fuchsia, family Onagraceae. It is native to Chile and is the sole representative of Section Kierschlegeria. This species is found at elevations between 0 and 100 meters.

Description

Fuchsia lycioides is a member of the Onagraceae family and is part of the genus Fuchsia. It is distributed in Chile and is unique in being the only species within Section Kierschlegeria. The species was first described in 1800 by Andrews. It grows at low elevations, typically between 0 and 100 meters above sea level.
