Fuchsia campos-portoi

Fuchsia campos-portoi is a member of the Onagraceae family, commonly known as the evening primrose family. The species was first published in 1935 by Pilg. & Schulze-Menz. It is geographically restricted to the Southeast region of Brazil, where it is part of the local flora. The genus Fuchsia is known for its showy, pendulous flowers and is widely cultivated for ornamental purposes. Fuchsia campos-portoi represents one of the many species within this genus that are native to South America.
