Fritillaria acmopetala, known as the pointed-petal fritillary, is a member of the lily family (Liliaceae). It is native to rocky limestone mountain slopes in the Middle East, including Cyprus, Lebanon-Syria, Palestine, and Turkey. The species was first described by Pierre Edmond Boissier in 1846.

Description

Fritillaria acmopetala is a flowering plant species found in rocky limestone habitats across parts of the Middle East. It belongs to the genus Fritillaria and is part of the Liliaceae family. The species was scientifically described by the Swiss botanist Pierre Edmond Boissier in 1846. Its native range includes Cyprus, Lebanon-Syria, Palestine, and Turkey, where it grows in mountainous regions.
