Fridericia triplinervia (Mart. ex DC.) L.G.Lohmann is a species in the Bignoniaceae family, native to northeastern Argentina, Bolivia, and several regions of Brazil, as well as Paraguay. It was formally described in 2014. The species is distinguished by the presence of pocket domatia on the abaxial side of leaflets and a tubular calyx, which differentiates it from related species such as F. florida, F. mutabilis, F. samydoides, and F. chica. In the Iguaçu and Iguazú National Parks, flowers were collected in February and March, though no fruiting data was recorded.

Description

Fridericia triplinervia is a member of the Bignoniaceae family, found in parts of South America including northeastern Argentina, Bolivia, and multiple regions of Brazil, as well as Paraguay. The species was first described in 2014. Morphologically, it is characterized by the presence of pocket domatia on the underside of leaflets and a tubular calyx, distinguishing it from other species in the genus. In the Iguaçu and Iguazú National Parks, flowering was observed in February and March, but no data on fruiting was available.
