Fridericia caudigera is a species in the Bignoniaceae family, native to several regions in South America, including northeastern Argentina, Bolivia, and various regions of Brazil as well as Paraguay. It was formally described in 2014 by L.G. Lohmann, based on earlier work by S.Moore.

Description

Fridericia caudigera belongs to the genus Fridericia within the Bignoniaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions. This species is distributed across northeastern Argentina, Bolivia, and multiple regions of Brazil, including the northeast, southeast, south, and west-central areas, as well as Paraguay. Its classification was published in 2014 by L.G. Lohmann, who recognized it as a new combination based on prior taxonomic work by S.Moore. The species is part of a broader group of plants in the Bignoniaceae family, which includes trees, shrubs, and vines known for their showy flowers and ecological significance in Neotropical ecosystems.
