Forsteronia thyrsoidea (Vell.) Müll.Arg. is a member of the Apocynaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the dogbane family. This species is distributed across parts of Brazil, including the Northeast, Southeast, South, and West-Central regions, as well as in northeastern Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia. The species was published in 1860 and is part of the genus Forsteronia, which includes various tropical and subtropical plant species.
