Forsteronia laurifolia (Benth.) A.DC. belongs to the genus Forsteronia in the Apocynaceae family. It is distributed in the Guainía region of Amazonian northeastern Colombia, including the municipality of Inírida, as well as northern Brazil and Venezuela. The species was first published in 1844.
