Description

Fraxinus griffithii, also known as the Himalayan ash or evergreen ash, is a species of tree described by C.B. Clarke in 1882. It is found in TW, AU, Global, Hawaii, Bangladesh, China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Myanmar, Nansei-shoto, Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The species is commonly grown as an ornamental in Australia, where it is considered an invasive species. It belongs to the Oleaceae family and is part of the Fraxinus genus.
