Pyxidanthera barbulata, the flowering pixiemoss, is a flowering plant in the Diapensiaceae family. It is native to the eastern United States, found along the coast from Long Island to New Jersey, Virginia, and as far south as South Carolina.

Pyxidanthera barbulata, known as flowering pixiemoss, is a species in the Diapensiaceae family. It is native to the eastern United States and occurs along coastal regions from Long Island through New Jersey, Virginia, and into South Carolina. The species was first described in 1803 by Michx.
