Fraxinus cuspidata, known as flowering ash, is a tree species in the Oleaceae family. It is native to northern Mexico and the southwestern United States, where it occurs in states such as Nuevo León, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. The species was first described in 1859 by Torr.

Description

Fraxinus cuspidata is a member of the Oleaceae family and is commonly referred to as flowering ash. It is indigenous to regions in northern Mexico and the southwestern U.S., including Nuevo León, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. The species was formally published in 1859 by Torr. It is also known by the common name fragrant ash.
