Coryphantha sulcata, a species of the cactus family Cactaceae, is native to Texas and a small part of northeastern Mexico. It is also known as the Grooved Nipple Cactus or Pineapple Cactus, although the latter name may refer to another species as well.

Description

Coryphantha sulcata, known as the Finger Cactus, is a member of the Cactaceae family. It is found in Texas and a small region of northeastern Mexico. The species has been described under the scientific name (Engelm.) Britton & Rose and was published in 1923. It is occasionally referred to as the Grooved Nipple Cactus or Pineapple Cactus, though the name Pineapple Cactus is sometimes used for another species.
