Packera fendleri, known as Fendler's ragwort, is a perennial herb in the Asteraceae family. It is native to the southern Rocky Mountains, occurring in Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. The plant can grow up to 16 inches tall and flowers from late May to early October. Its inflorescence consists of 6–25 flower heads, each with 13 green phyllaries, numerous disk florets, and 6–8+ yellow ray florets.

Description

Packera fendleri (A.Gray) W.A.Weber & Á.Löve is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is commonly found in the southern Rocky Mountains, specifically in Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. This perennial herb can reach a height of approximately 16 inches. The flowering period spans from late May to early October, during which it produces an inflorescence of 6–25 flower heads. Each flower head is lined with 13 green phyllaries and features many disk florets and 6–8+ yellow ray florets.
