Thismia rodwayi, known as fairy lantern, is a non-chlorophyllous plant in the Burmanniaceae family. It is found in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, and parts of New Zealand.

Description

Thismia rodwayi, also called fairy lantern, is a member of the Burmanniaceae family and lacks chlorophyll. It is distributed across the Australian states of Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales, as well as in some areas of New Zealand. The species was first described in 1890 by F.Muell.
