Anigozanthos flavidus is a plant species in the Haemodoraceae family, native to Southwest Australia. It is known by the common names tall kangaroo-paw, yellow kangaroo-paw, and evergreen kangaroo-paw. The species was first described in 1807 by Redouté. The specific epithet 'flavidus' refers to its yellow flowers.

Description

Anigozanthos flavidus is a member of the Haemodoraceae family and is native to Southwest Australia. It is also found in parts of Western Australia, Tasmania, and other regions including ZA, IN, and Colombia. The plant is commonly called tall kangaroo-paw, yellow kangaroo-paw, or evergreen kangaroo-paw. Its yellow flowers are the basis for the specific name 'flavidus,' which means yellow in Latin.
