Yucca faxoniana, known as Eve's needle, is a bladed evergreen shrub in the Asparagaceae family. It is also referred to as Faxon yucca, Spanish dagger, and giant dagger. This species is distributed globally, with notable presence in the Northeast of Mexico, as well as in New Mexico and Texas. It was first published in 1905.

Description

Yucca faxoniana is a member of the genus Yucca and is characterized by its bladed foliage. Commonly called Eve's needle, it is also known by the names Faxon yucca, Spanish dagger, and giant dagger. The plant is native to regions in the Northeast of Mexico and extends into the U.S. states of New Mexico and Texas. It belongs to the Asparagaceae family, which includes a wide range of perennial flowering plants. The species was formally described and published in 1905.
