Euploca tenella is a species in the genus Euploca of the family Heliotropiaceae. It was first described in 2016 by Feuillet and Halse, based on earlier work by Torr. The species is native to the southeastern and central United States.

Description

Euploca tenella is a member of the Heliotropiaceae family and is found in a range of states across the southeastern and central U.S., including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia. It was formally published in 2016 by Feuillet and Halse, with the original material attributed to Torr. This species is part of the genus Euploca, which is known for its herbaceous plants adapted to various environmental conditions.
