Erythranthe rubella, known as little redstem monkeyflower, is a species in the genus Erythranthe of the family Phrymaceae. It was previously classified under the genus Mimulus as Mimulus rubellus. The species was formally described and published in 2012. It is native to the southwestern United States and parts of northwestern Mexico, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Description

Erythranthe rubella is a flowering plant species in the Phrymaceae family. It is distributed across several western U.S. states and into northwestern Mexico. The species was reclassified from the genus Mimulus to Erythranthe in 2012. It is commonly referred to as little redstem monkeyflower.
