Eriotheca gracilipes is a species in the Malvaceae family, native to several regions in South America. It was first described in 1963 by A. Robyns, with the original work by K. Schum. The species is found in Bolivia, Brazil (Northeast, North, Southeast, and West-Central), Paraguay, and at the Jardín Botánico de Bogotá in Colombia.

Description

Eriotheca gracilipes is a member of the Malvaceae family, commonly known as the mallow family. It is distributed across parts of South America, including Brazil's Northeast, North, Southeast, and West-Central regions, as well as Bolivia and Paraguay. The species is also documented at the Jardín Botánico de Bogotá in Colombia. The scientific name was established in 1963 by A. Robyns, based on earlier work by K. Schum. This species is part of the genus Eriotheca, which includes several other species within the Malvaceae family.
