Description

Eremogone longifolia belongs to the Caryophyllaceae, a family commonly known as the carnation or stonecress family. The species is native to a range of regions in Eurasia, including Altay, Central and East European Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, North Caucasus, Northwest European Russia, Primorye, South European Russia, Ukraine, and West Siberia. The name was first published in 1833 by Fenzl, with the original material attributed to M.Bieb.
