Fraxinus floribunda, known as East Indian Ash, is a species of ash native to regions in South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. It is found in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Assam, Bhutan, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, the Ryukyu Islands, and parts of China. The species was first described in 1820 by Wall. and belongs to the genus Fraxinus in the Oleaceae family.

Description

Fraxinus floribunda is a member of the Oleaceae family and is part of the genus Fraxinus. Its native range includes Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Assam, Bhutan, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, the Ryukyu Islands, and parts of China. The species was first published in 1820 by Wall. It is known by the common name East Indian Ash in English and is distributed across South, East, and Southeast Asia.
