Fumaria vaillantii, known as earthsmoke, is a perennial herb in the Papaveraceae family. It has a self-supporting growth form and broad, simple leaves, with individuals reaching up to 28 cm in height. This species is native to Europe.

Description

Fumaria vaillantii is distributed across several European countries, including Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Germany, and England. First described in 1809 by Loisel, it is a member of the genus Fumaria. The plant is characterized by its herbaceous structure and belongs to the Papaveraceae family, commonly known as the poppy family.
