Description
Solidago juncea, or Early Goldenrod, is a species of herbaceous perennial plant in the Asteraceae family. It is native to eastern and central Canada and the United States, with a distribution ranging from Nova Scotia and Manitoba to as far south as northern Georgia and northern Arkansas. Isolated populations are also present in Louisiana and Oklahoma. The species was published in 1789 by Aiton. It is also known by the common names plume golden-rod and yellow top.
