Trillium pusillum, known as dwarf wakerobin, is a flowering plant in the Melanthiaceae family. It is native to the southeastern and south-central United States, including states from Oklahoma to Maryland.

Description

Trillium pusillum, described by Michx. in 1803, is a member of the Melanthiaceae family and the Trillium genus. It is commonly called dwarf wakerobin and is found in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. This species is one of the smaller members of the Trillium genus.
