Abronia nana, known as dwarf sand verbena, is a perennial herb native to the arid regions of western North America. It is found in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah, typically in desert and semi-arid habitats.

Description

Abronia nana is a member of the Nyctaginaceae family and is part of the genus Abronia. This species is adapted to dry environments and is commonly found in the Mojave Desert and Great Basin. It was first described in 1879 by S. Watson. The plant is characterized by its low-growing, herbaceous form and is well-suited to the hot, dry conditions of its native range.
