Juniperus durangensis is a species in the Cupressaceae family, native to several regions in Mexico. It is commonly known as Durango juniper and was first described by Martínez in 1946.

Juniperus durangensis belongs to the genus Juniperus within the Cupressaceae family. It is found in the Global, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Northwest, and Mexico Southwest regions. The species was formally published in 1946 by Martínez. It is referred to as Durango juniper in English and by the same common name in other languages.
