Duguetia confusa is a species in the Annonaceae family, native to several countries in Central and South America. It is found in Colombia, particularly in Parque Nacional Natural Paramillo, as well as in Antioquia, Chocó, and Valle. The species also occurs in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama. It was first described in 1996 by Maas.

Description

Duguetia confusa belongs to the genus Duguetia within the Annonaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as custard apples or sweetsop. This species is distributed across several regions in Central and South America, including Colombia, where it is present in Parque Nacional Natural Paramillo, as well as in the departments of Antioquia, Chocó, and Valle. Its range extends to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama. The species was formally described in 1996 by the botanist Maas.
