Drymonia tenuis (Benth.) J.L.Clark is a species in the Gesneriaceae family, native to regions in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is found in several protected areas, including Parque Nacional Natural Serranía de los Churumbelos and Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza, as well as in the departments of Antioquia, Boyacá, Cauca, Chocó, Cundinamarca, and Nariño in Colombia. The species was formally described in 2005.
Description
Drymonia tenuis (Benth.) J.L.Clark belongs to the Gesneriaceae family and is distributed across parts of northern South America. It occurs in several natural parks and regions in Colombia, including Parque Nacional Natural Serranía de los Churumbelos and Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza, as well as in the departments of Antioquia, Boyacá, Cauca, Chocó, Cundinamarca, and Nariño. The species is also present in Ecuador and Peru. The scientific name was published in 2005.
