Drimys andina is a flowering plant species in the family Winteraceae, native to southern South America, specifically in Argentina and Chile.

Description

Drimys andina belongs to the genus Drimys and is part of the Winteraceae family. It is found in the regions of Argentina South, Chile Central, and Chile South. The species was first described in 1991 by R.A.Rodr. & Quezada, based on earlier work by Reiche. This plant is indigenous to southern South America and is part of the natural flora of Chile and Argentina.
