Galeopsis pubescens is a herbaceous annual plant in the Lamiaceae family, commonly referred to as downy hemp-nettle. It is distributed across parts of Europe, including Denmark, Finland, Norway, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Estonia, Sweden, Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, and Hungary. The species was first described in 1809 by Besser. It is also sometimes called hairy hemp-nettle.
