Dorstenia barnimiana is a tuberous succulent found in tropical Africa and Yemen. It belongs to the Moraceae family and was first described in 1862 by Schweinf.

Description

Dorstenia barnimiana is a small, tuberous succulent species native to regions spanning from Cameroon in the west to Zambia in the east, as well as in Yemen in the southern Arabian Peninsula. It is part of the Moraceae family, commonly known as the mulberry family. The species was first published in 1862 by the botanist Schweinf. Its distribution includes several countries in tropical Africa such as Burundi, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zaïre.
