Doodia aspera, commonly known as prickly rasp fern, is a terrestrial fern found in eastern Australia. It is commonly observed in rainforest margins and eucalyptus forests in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.

Description

Doodia aspera, described by R.Br. in 1810, belongs to the family Blechnaceae. This fern is characterized by its reddish new growth and is a common and widespread species in its native range. It thrives in the understory of rainforests and eucalyptus forests, where it contributes to the local flora.
