Penthorum sedoides, known as ditch stonecrop, is a perennial herb native to eastern North America. It is a member of the family Penthoraceae and is characterized by small white flowers that bloom in summer.

Description

Penthorum sedoides is a species in the genus Penthorum of the family Penthoraceae. It is distributed across regions including British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Vermont-US, and various U.S. states such as Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, and others. The plant is commonly called ditch stonecrop and is a perennial forb found in wetland and riparian habitats. It was first described in 1753 by Carl Linnaeus.
