Didymoglossum punctatum is a species of fern in the Hymenophyllaceae family, native to several regions in Colombia, including the Parque Nacional Natural Sumapaz and the departments of Girón, Boyacá, Cauca, Chocó, Meta, Santander, and Valle. It was first described in 1827 by Desv., with the original name attributed to Poir.

Didymoglossum punctatum is a member of the Hymenophyllaceae family, a group of ferns commonly known as filmy ferns. This species is found in various locations across Colombia, including the Parque Nacional Natural Sumapaz and the departments of Girón, Boyacá, Cauca, Chocó, Meta, Santander, and Valle. The species was formally described in 1827 by Desv., based on earlier work by Poir. It is part of the genus Didymoglossum, which is characterized by its delicate, often translucent fronds. The plant is adapted to moist, shaded environments typical of tropical and subtropical regions.
