Dichoropetalum carvifolia is a species in the genus Dichoropetalum, belonging to the family Apiaceae. It was first described by Vill. and later reclassified by Pimenov & Kljuykov in 2007. This plant is native to several regions in Europe and parts of Russia, including Belgium, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, and parts of the former Yugoslavia. Its distribution also extends to the North and South European regions of Russia and the island of Sicilia.

Description

Dichoropetalum carvifolia is a member of the Apiaceae family, commonly known as the carrot or parsley family. The species is found across a wide range of European countries, including the Flemish and Walloon regions of Belgium, as well as parts of the former Czechoslovakia. It is also present in the East European and South European regions of Russia. The plant's distribution spans from the Iberian Peninsula to the Balkans and into Central and Eastern Europe. The reclassification of this species by Pimenov & Kljuykov in 2007 reflects ongoing taxonomic work within the genus Dichoropetalum.
