It was first described in 1911 by Rehder. The shrub typically reaches a height of 1–2 meters and has branchlets that are 8–12 cm long and purplish red in color.
Description
Deutzia schneideriana is a member of the Hydrangeaceae family and is found in the central and southeastern regions of China. It is distributed across Anhui, Gansu, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, and possibly Zhejiang provinces. The shrub grows to a height of 1–2 meters and is characterized by its purplish red branchlets, which measure 8–12 cm in length. This species was first published in 1911 by Rehder.
