This moss is distributed across regions including Flanders, the Walloon Region, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as in SE, NO, and DK. The species was first described in 1960.

Description

Taxiphyllum wissgrillii (Garov.) Wijk & Margad. is a moss species native to parts of Europe, including Flanders, the Walloon Region, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as in SE, NO, and DK. It is a member of the family Taxiphyllaceae and is known by the common name Depressed Feather-moss. The species was published in 1960. It is part of the genus Taxiphyllum, which includes various moss species with similar morphological characteristics.
