Dendrolycopodium juniperoideum

Dendrolycopodium juniperoideum belongs to the Lycopodiaceae family, commonly known as the clubmoss family. This species is part of the genus Dendrolycopodium and was formally described in 2003 with the authorship attributed to (Sw.) A.Haines. The species name 'juniperoideum' may reflect morphological similarities to juniper or coniferous plants. As a member of the Lycopodiaceae, it is a non-flowering, spore-producing plant typically found in moist, shaded environments.
