Davilla alata is a species in the Dilleniaceae family, native to northern Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, and Suriname. It was first described in 1900 by author (Vent.) Briq.

Davilla alata is a member of the genus Davilla within the Dilleniaceae family. This species is found in the northern regions of Brazil, as well as in French Guiana, Guyana, and Suriname. It was formally published in 1900 under the authorship of (Vent.) Briq. The Dilleniaceae family is a group of flowering plants, and Davilla alata is one of its representatives in the Neotropical region.
