Davallia chaerophylloides is a fern species in the family Davalliaceae. It was first described in 1824 by Steud. with the original authorship attributed to Poir. This species is native to various regions in Africa and surrounding islands.

Description

Davallia chaerophylloides is a member of the Davalliaceae family and is part of the genus Davallia. Its distribution spans multiple countries including Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, the Cape Provinces, Central African Republic, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Gulf of Guinea Islands, Ivory Coast, Kenya, KwaZulu-Natal, Liberia, Madagascar, Mauritius, and Mozambique. The species was published in 1824 under the scientific name Davallia chaerophylloides (Poir.) Steud.
