Daphne kamtschatica is a shrub in the Thymelaeaceae family, native to Korea, Japan, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk, the Kuril Islands, Manchuria, Primorye, and Sakhalin. It was first described in 1859 by Maxim.

Daphne kamtschatica belongs to the genus Daphne and is part of the Thymelaeaceae family. This species is distributed across several regions in East Asia, including Korea, Japan, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk, the Kuril Islands, Manchuria, Primorye, and Sakhalin. The plant was formally published in 1859 by the botanist Maxim.
