Dimorphotheca cuneata, known as daisy, is a species in the Asteraceae family. It is native to the Cape Provinces and Free State of South Africa, as well as Botswana and Namibia. The plant is also cultivated as an ornamental and has been naturalized in Gila County, Arizona, in the United States.

Description

Dimorphotheca cuneata (Thunb.) Less., commonly called daisy, is a member of the Asteraceae family. It is indigenous to the Cape Provinces and Free State in South Africa, as well as Botswana and Namibia. The species has been introduced and is cultivated for ornamental use, with a reported naturalization in Gila County, Arizona, within the conterminous 48 United States.
