Serruria meisneriana, known as the dainty spiderhead, is a flowering shrub native to the Western Cape. It is part of the fynbos vegetation and is found in the north-east Babylon Tower and Greenland Mountains. The plant reaches a height of 50 cm and blooms between July and October.

Description

Serruria meisneriana is a member of the Proteaceae family and is endemic to the Western Cape region. It is a slender shrub that grows up to 50 cm tall and is adapted to the local fynbos ecosystem. The species flowers from July to October. It was first described in 1899 by Schltr.
