Cyrtanthus breviflorus is a species in the Amaryllidaceae family, native to various regions in Africa, including Angola, Cape Provinces, Free State, Kenya, KwaZulu-Natal, Lesotho, Malawi, Northern Provinces, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zaïre, and Zimbabwe. It was first described in 1863 by Harv.
