Cylindropuntia calmalliana is a species in the Cactaceae family, native to Mexico. It was first described in 1896 by John Merle Coulter under the genus Opuntia as Opuntia calmalliana. Later, it was reclassified into the genus Cylindropuntia by F.M. Knuth in 1936.
