Cycas indica is a cycad species native to India, characterized by its branching growth habit and found in the dry plains of Karnataka. It was formally described in 2007 by A. Lindström and K. D. Hill and belongs to the family Cycadaceae. The species is sometimes confused with Cycas swamyi, which is also considered a synonym of Cycas circinalis.
