Dioon califanoi is a cycad species in the Zamiaceae family, native to Oaxaca and Puebla states in Mexico. It occurs near Teotitlán del Camino and Huautla de Jiménez. The species was first described in 1979 by De Luca and Sabato.

Dioon califanoi belongs to the genus Dioon and is part of the Zamiaceae family, commonly known as cycads.
