Cycas edentata is a cycad species in the family Cycadaceae, distributed across Southern Asia, including Borneo, Java, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sumatra, Thailand, and Vietnam. It was first described from a single population on Calusa Island in Cagayancillo, Philippines.

Description

Cycas edentata, a member of the Cycadaceae family, is native to multiple regions in Southern Asia. Its original description was based on a population from Calusa Island in the Philippines. The species is part of the genus Cycas and is commonly referred to as a cycad. It was formally published in 1998 by de Laub.
